Describe Yourself:
I'm an American, living in Canada for going on seven years now. I have a five year old son, two cats and a quiet, happy, simple life. In the past, I've worked as an HIV/AIDS educator, health & safety instructor, disaster volunteer (helping in the aftermath, not causing them!), EMT-I, waitress, lifeguard and instructor trainer. I'm an Air Force brat, and grew up in Germany, living over there for most of the large events of the eighties and early nineties-- the Cold War, Chernobyl, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Russian coup, the first Gulf War. I am in the process of going back to school to get my degree in social work.
