Describe Yourself:

I'm an American living in Canada. I have a son, two cats and a quiet, happy, simple life. In the past, I've worked as an HIV/AIDS educator, health & safety instructor, disaster volunteer (helping in the aftermath, not causing them!), EMT-I, waitress, career researcher, lifeguard and instructor trainer. I'm an Air Force brat, and grew up in Germany, living over there for most of the large events of the eighties and early nineties-- the Cold War, Chernobyl, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Russian coup, the first Gulf War.

Yes indeed Corrina, I am still writing. Actually I'm doing a lot of study too at a non-degree program here in Dallas. Have you been writing a lot? I used to check in on your blog but I confess I have been a real web-slacker for the last year. It is really good to see you and to read your lovely poem today.
